Sooo happy I came across this place when shopping at the local Sainsbury's nearby. I had been craving Asian noodles and was overjoyed to find Gong Fu Noodle Bar in Kingsmead Square. The coolest thing about this place is you can pick your own type of noodles or rice, toppings like meat or vegetables and then the flavor of the dish such as Thai curry, wonton soup, etc. And if that's not your style, you can always order a dish from their menu as well.

Their egg noodles with chicken in a wonton soup is pretty delicious! I went with a couple of friends, and the owner even brought out a small dish of extra chicken for us. Definitely a place I'd like to go again!

Good place, really good reputation but I have been disappointed. In Montreal, where I come from, our Chinese district have really good restaurants. So maybe I was expecting too much. Or maybe was it just the hoisin sauce?

We often go here for lunch and I've taken a few friends here as well. I would definitely say it's the best Chinese I've been to. The food is just excellent and as mentioned by another reviewer you build up your meal by choosing the base, the meat and the sauce. I usually go for Korean soy fried rice, chicken and a satay sauce. The chicken is just amazing and is served in a crispy batter. I would highly recommend the salt & pepper squid too, I don't usually eat seafood but I always make the exception with this. The place is a bit small so you can't really get more than 5 people in there but it's an absolute gem and definitely requires a visit.

I just visited Bath for the first time, and I had been told by my sister-in-law that I needed to try Gong Fu.  I went there for lunch and ordered curry chicken with noodles, and it was delicious.  The chicken is moist and crispy, and it has a duck-like flavor (perhaps it is cooked or marinated in duck fat, I'm not sure), and the curry sauce was amazing.  I was so happy with my lunch, I kept thinking about it all day, and I decided to return that evening for dinner.  I had the curry chicken again, this time with rice, and it was just as delicious as my meal from lunch.  I live in the U.S., so unfortunately I cannot frequent Gong Fu, but the next time I visit England, returning to Gong Fu will be a top priority.
